Norwayne CLT is for people who want to live in Historic Norwayne, care about their neighbors, and need stable, predictable rent. We prioritize:

  • Current or former Norwayne residents and their families
  • Households at risk of being pushed out by rising rents
  • People planning to stay for the long term

What You Can Expect

  • Stable, below-market rent with limited increases
  • A safe, dignified, code-compliant home
  • Respectful communication and clear expectations
  • Opportunities to give feedback and help shape the CLT’s future

What We Ask of Residents

  • Follow the lease and basic community agreements
  • Care for the home as if it’s meant to last
  • Communicate early if repairs or financial challenges arise
  • Participate occasionally in surveys, meetings, or check-ins when possible

Application Process (High-Level)

  1. Inquiry: Submit a brief interest form or reach out by phone/email.
  2. Screening: We review basic eligibility, income, and local ties.
  3. Conversation: We talk about mutual expectations and fit.
  4. Lease: If it’s a good fit and a home is available, we finalize the lease.
